2 different skeins of Hand-Dyed Merino Fingering weight yarn.
1 Skein of Hand-Dyed Merino/Nylon fingering weight yarn
1 Skein of Hand Dyed Michigan Organic Merino/Alpaca Aran weight (A limited edition yarn called Freshwater Fibers hand dyed by the artist)
Hand-dyed using botanicals Alpaca dk weight yarn from Peru (Hand-dyed in Peru using local botanicals (Tarwi) and traditional dye techniques)
Handwoven with 5 different skeins of yarn, in 3 panels then sewn together to create the finished piece. Colors and yarn are selected by the artist to highlight the nearly electric chartreuse yard dyed in Peru by hand using Tarwi, a plant indigenous to Peru. The color is plant derived but feels nearly radioactive in its intensity, and was the inspiration for this altar cloth.
